An Orphan's Thought

What was it that she thought 
what was it that she thought

when she took that step
knowing what lay ahead
then why didn't she stop
when in the early stage i was growing up

what was it that she thought 
what was it that she thought

when she planned to keep me alive 
but didn't provide any means to survive
SHE LEFT YOU HERE the doctors say
when that didn't work she threw you away

what was it that she thought 
what was it that she thought

when all hope was lost for me 
i never thought it could be
that another she would come as a stranger
to protect me from this world's dangers

what was it that she thought 
what was it that she thought

she is better then any other
she is the one i call mother
i really really love her
yet i always ALWAYS wonder
